Everyone won’t vote until they get an incentive to vote. Surely, making voting compulsory is not an option because it’ll be too harsh on the population. There may be many factors due to which they could not have voted. But, the people who could have voted but still hadn’t voted are the people whom I want to approach by this suggestion. Incentives can be of many kinds like poor will be provided with food for the day of voting. This will attract many poor people who thought their vote can’t make a difference. For rich, their electricity’s bill may be reduced up to 15%.
