Every now and then we are witnessing videos of passengers claiming they found out that railway employees are charging more than actual price of food and are also very reluctant to show the price menu when asked for. This is a very big source of corruption.
Hence, I have come up with this petition to request Ministry of Railways to stick a laminated price list of most common meals like vegetable thali, non vegetable thali, biryani, etc in each compartment of every train, so that passengers are not cheated upon. Also in this era of DIGITAL INDIA, spot electronic payment options should be available, so that customers have a record to show in case they are overcharged. Also, the employees must carry their identity cards with them.
