That U turn and those wishes:)

Most of the mornings, I talk to Kenchappa who is a garbage picker and ask how is he and if he had a coffee:) This morning while I was on my way to office, I crossed the garbage picker vehicle that was parked and is one that Kenchappa drives. I smiled and moved and also observed some 3 4 Pourakarmikas, lady street sweepers sitting across… I was on my two wheeler, went some 200 meters ahead and remembered that I had few chocolates from my last workshop that I kept to be distributed to kids etc (Courtesy : Abha Saxena)… I just stopped my vehicle, went back and asked Kenchappa, “Chocolates beka???” Do you all want to have some chocolates? One sweeper lady comes to me to pick chocolates on behalf of all and her first question… She: Is it your Birthday today” Me: No. Just like that. And I move on with everyone’s smiles:). On my way I see another street sweeper almost done with her sweeping and is pushing the cart of garbage, fully tired. I stop by… Me: Chocolate beka? She: hmmm, Idre kodi. I give her 2 and while I move… She (with full of emotions and happiness): Thanks maa 🙂

We don’t need to wait for reasons to celebrate or distribute sweets or do good! If you saw someone, wanted to help and missed as you were moving ahead. Even if you get that thought for 1%, “Hey I should have helped kya?… Go ahead, take that U turn intentionally. Believe me it’s worth it:)

This post is not to share I did good work or boost myself, but to share how blessed we all are and how little more blessed we could be by intentional good work:) 🙂 #Intentionalgoodwork #actokindness #blessed:)
