The reason – because the court is going to present verdict in the case of Sant Ram Rahim’s case in which he is accused of the rape and sexual abuse. The irony is that the incidence took place more than fifteen years back.
What I’m still not able to figure out is why the fuss is all about.
First of all, I’d like to collide head on with the followers who have gathered in thousands in Panchkula. The purpose – I’m still wondering what that is? Do the followers want to showcase their power? Do they want to threaten the government? If the God Man is so clean, and he has not done any wrong then why is this dramatic being carried out?
If he thinks truly for the good of people, then he must think about the safety of his followers. The situation has boiled to such an extent that even a small act of violence or any such thing can burst the scene and turn it into a mob, which could turn into a riot. Why does he not urge his followers to turn back?
Secondly – why did the government not take action on time to stop letting these people gather in Panchkula?
Right now I’m watching Aaj Tak, and I’m astounded by the way the news presenter is showing courage with statements like – ‘What are the followers trying to prove? How can they justify this by stating that it is just an emotional outburst by the followers? Is it justified?’
In the meanwhile, the latest news is that Baba has entered the premises, and the situation seems to be getting worse.
At the end of it all, being a common man from the largest democracy in the world, I’d like to ask this question from everyone reading this post – What kind of these God men are that we are following?
Do we want our future generations to be blinded by following people who themselves are unable to prove themselves clean? Are we doing it right? Think of it.
I’m not sure this post is going to be taken in the right light or am I going to receive some threats from the followers of Dera Sacha Sauda after this. But, I’m sure of one thing i.e. I could not hold my thoughts back.
In the mean while, the verdict is going to come in a few minutes. Let’s just hope the court makes the right decision.
