In the recent past, Babas have been in the news for all the wrong reasons – financial excesses, lavish lifestyles, and sexual scandals. Persons with Disabilities, on the other hand, are seen on the opposite side of the spectrum – desexualised, unemployable, and free of worldly pleasures. That’s what inspired us to make the sketch ‘Baba Wheelchair’. The story of a man who’s rejected at a date, refused his ‘daaru’, and declined his dream job. What does he decide to do? Obviously, become ‘Baba Wheelchair’.
