Indian politics is passing through an era of quality degradation. Remaining in power has became important for our politicians upto such an extent that ethics, principles and legends seems just an imagination.
The war of ideology, power politics, perception and image making is now at a level where Everything is fair in it.
This propaganda war has led to alienation of voice of dissents which is a pre-requisite condition for maturing democracy . People in the society are influenced so much by these emotional appeal that they are loosing their rationality.
In the last few years, division within the society between pro -government and it’s critics has widened. Now, critics are reduced to a number that their survival seems impossible. These critics face dual threat now a days, one from government machinery and other from people .
Now, What the government states is truth for the society. In the past few years, it has became a trend that either you approve the government statement or your voice would be forced to death . Such kind of threat and conditions are visible in the killings of Gauri Lankesh, Kalburgi and others. This list is so long that it is not possible to mention everyones name. These are the recent one and must be in the memory of society.
The society, itself , is defending assassinations of journalist, professors and other opinion leaders of the society.
Now society has to think is it the moral and ethics and history which we are going to forward to our next generations.
