We’ve also been busy with our DIFF Outreach Program, in partnership with Jagori Rural Charitable Trust. A series of screenings has been held at a Gaddi Women’s health camp in the remote village of Chola, a Government High School in Dharamshala and in Dharamkot village for an audience that included three generations of Gaddi villagers. Many more screenings are coming up right through this month: at the Dharamshala District Jail, the Himachal Institute of Technology and in collaboration with several other communities across the Kangra district.

So mark your diaries, book your transport and accommodation, and get ready for DIFF 2017!

The sixth Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) will be held from 2 to 5 November 2017 at Tibetan Children’s Village, Upper Dharamshala. DIFF is presented by White Crane Arts & Media—a trust founded by filmmakers Ritu Sarin and Tenzing Sonam to promote contemporary art, cinema and independent media practice in the Himalayan regions of India.
