We are having HIGHEST no of overqualified HOUSEWIVES

Our first prime minister Pandit Jawahar lal nehru says

” If you want to check the condition of a nation look at the status of women in that country.”

And considering this statement no wonder why ” BHARAT ” is still a developing nation despite of having

HIGHEST NUMBER OF HAVING OVER EDUCATED AND OVER QUALIFIED HOUSEWIVES !

YES !! You heard it right , isn’t this shameful for our nation.

India a land of diverse culture, and this land holds the highest number of over-educated and overqualified housewives in the world. India women status has been subject to many great changes over the past few millennia, a large percentage of married women in India work. The level of women’s education in India witnessed a sharp rise as in urban India, women participate in the workforce in impressive numbers. For example, in the software industry 30% of the workforce is female. Indian women are considered as the most beautiful in the world. As mothers, sisters, daughters, colleagues, wives and girlfriends – you can never imagine a life without them? Full universe will be the messy without women, Indian women are mostly appreciated for their motherly love and if they start neglecting the Kids would be turn into drug addicts or psychopaths by age 10. Now a days married Indian women have achieved a lot. They have left the secure domain of their home and have plunged themselves in the battlefield of life with the armour of talent to protect them, as they hold the highest degrees with an impressive marks. They have successfully fought against social restrictions, emotional ties, religious boundaries and cultural clutches. Women can now be seen working on par with men in every field. According to recent research it is found that 87% of our women feel stressed out most of the time. And in research it is found that number of married women are more. In India married women were judge by their in-law and in some part of our country this trend is still continuing, they expect too much, and don’t give space and suffocate to the women’s individuality. But now the society is changing and the married women with quality education can imagine to do things of their own and to achieve their dreams even after getting married or having a baby. Earlier Indian women were considered to be home makers, now they have become an important force in shaping the destiny of the nation. Being a home maker India is emerging as a powerful nation due to the significant role played by women in the development of the nation. Women occupy high offices in the nation. We have a history about the achievements of Women, Sarojini Naidu was the governor of a state and a freedom fighter. Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India. Mrs. Pratibha Patil was the President of India. They have proved that, “Let the women reach the sky which is the limit !” The number of married women are not in almost every employed field. They have even joined the army. Indian women have mastered everything that a woman can dream of and have achieved even impossible things. Some other great Indian women are Kalpana Chawla, the daring lady who traveled in a spaceship, Kiran Bedi, the brave police officer and Kiran Majumdar Shaw who is the richest Indian woman.

From sewing to flying a plane , from managing home to managing a country , from cricket to boxing , from bangles to medals , from burka to beauty paegents. We have always outshine man . Numerous researchs have proved time and again that women are better administrators.

On the contrary Among suicides by women, a whopping 51.4 per cent are committed by housewives . This is because they have to face a lot of pressure and stigma. With the husband working long hours and preoccupied with work even when he gets home, the wife does not have anybody to talk to and vent her feelings. Most of these suicides are not planned but acts of impulse when the woman in question is pushed past her endurance. One more reason to be added here is their poor societal condition , our women are not properly recognized and celebrated. Except a few They are not encouraged to be financial independent , despite of having higher education they are not allowed to follow their dreams.

Isn’t this an alarm for us to take a step . We should understand our capabilities and do the best within our reach. So from here on take a pledge that we help ourselves for making this situation better before it get passed to our coming generations. Raise your voice for your rights. Take on the front seat and get set go for the change. Every bit counts.
