Swachhta cannot be approached as a standalone concept. It is the whole context of a citizen keeping his surroundings clean comes from an uncluttered mind. Outer Swachhta is a mirror of Swachhta inside. Hence this concept can be extrapolated to see that in out nation state, a “swachhta” of ‘minds’ can bring forth good governance practices, and overall development of the socirty can be accelerated through this. We call this project the Swachh Ujwall Vishv Project, which works on a global scale and indexes countries based on their performances on certain pre-defined parameters. The SUV project will be one-of-its kind project looking at a transformation of society with 15 years. The project is oriented towards environment more than other factors, but it involves a change in mind-sets such that we move away from mindless consumption and consumerism and move towards a more sustainable and just society. For this endevour various agencies will be identified in each country. For India, the agencies are already chosen, attached as Annexure A. This programme has the potential for alignment with the government by fostering support from NITI Ayog (Planning Commission).
Execution of this entire project will be done by a company namely “Earth Spirit”.
The programme agenda is already prepared and we have already aligned many global actors. The key to change is broadly going to be the route of Education, Art, Culture and Science.
