Are you double ticked or are you in a queue ?

A blue double tick lives a day and one without any color makes your life as colorless as the screen it appears on.

Thanks to my newly found habbits, I am away from whatsapp but friends around, keep opening screens from time to time just waiting for a pop up or a double tick to appear.

I want to say something heavy here, like the next world war will not be nuclear, biochemical etc but a depression war. But I don’t mean that, certainly don’t hope so.

Interactions have changed, for the best I would say , as an optimist but our fear to judge ourselves based on our actions is poorly reflecting with our fear to fit in.

But our interactions are now digital, which so one dimensional, can you replace my face with an Emoji.

Can you capture my smile with your camera, can you touch my heart with a heart smiley ?

Actions seek validations, Validations are necessary.

Were the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great Wars a spiritual war our Great Depression is our lives. Weve all been raised on television to believe that one day wed all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we wont. And were slowly learning that fact. And were very, very pissed off.”

Are you a victim ?

I know I have been, takes an honest man to confess some messages when they go through make you feel alive like a 220 Volt of happiness and some that are stuck can take you to the scariest places in your dreams while when you wake up outside the doors of liquor stores, the stores are closed but your heart still hasn’t ripped apart enough for you to stop drinking and you keep sailing like damaged goods.

For some, alarmingly, it gets too late to save _them, for some however, there is hope.

Let’s raise hope.

Move away from validations oh thee friend for the fate of the one who flew before you wasn’t that great and as much reluctant or lucky you think you are punk, the fate shall remain the same.

Instead, try this new thing I am trying, it’s called sharing.

When you care more about the people in your life, being actively around the people who are around you, you not only help them from drowning but most days they save you.

Look up, the blue ticks can wait.

Please note : Depression in the early teens is a grave matter of importance, trap’s like Blue whale challenges are just the starting, there is a hurricane of marketers coming to grab our children with the blitz of their products and we will not have enough motivations to shoo them away because they will slowly creep in our bed’s too.

Let’s show them a healthy family life, otherwise, who knows ?
