If you want to be strong, learn to start enjoy being alone

Many a times in your life, you will feel a desperate need of somebody in your life. You will have situations where you think that ‘That’s it. I can’t take it anymore’. You will feel sad, alone, depressed, empty, craving for some company or a guidance around you. You will question your existence and worth in everybody’s life. You will start contemplating each small or big decision of your life right from the beginning till now. You will sometimes get thoughts of what will happen when you don’t even exist to see this anymore. You will feel low all the time. Might get panic/anxiety attacks. You might end up scrolling down on internet surfing about best medical advice(s) on depression and even the ways to painlessly end your pain in lowest of all moments.

Always remember:

  1. It’s okay to feel this way. Come on, it’s your life and you’re the in charge of it. It’s okay to feel lil sad and depressed at times.
  2. Most importantly, don’t stay under impression that anybody will come closer to you to give you relief from your pain or anybody will be at your side. Always remember, when you cannot even control your own thoughts and actions, how can you control somebody else’s existence in your life. Just like you, everybody’s got their own set of problems.
  3. Nobody will be there for you in your lowest peak of times. No matter how hard you hold on to, you’ll never be able to do that.

But remember one more thing, you’re strong on your own. It’s okay if cannot cry on somebody else’s shoulder or get your heart out in any other’s physical presence. You must have survived many things in past too. This might not be your first time. And this is definitely not going to be last time either. You have survived many storms earlier alone. You don’t know that the feeling you’re thinking about right now is your weakness, might actually be your strength. You might actually be strong enough to pass this time alone, only if you trust yourself enough.

Always think that you would be able to survive any difficult situation, if you pass this one with flying colors. Just give it a try this time. You never know, what good might come out of any situation.

Have that courage to keep a smile on your face and never show the outside world what you’re going through and what you might be capable of doing.

Don’t be so harsh on yourself. Just do what best you can do. You might have spent your whole life keeping others happy. It’s time to do some good to you. It’s time to be a bad ass and start pampering you. Just give it a shot. You might laugh on these things after few months or years thinking you lost some of the beautiful moments of your life thinking about all this. Think about now. Go and make yourself happy. Period.
