If a girl talks about her career or doing job in future , parents be like : dekha Jayega jaisa pati chahega waisa he hoga . Who the hell is this pati deciding our future doings. And if we said “no” then we are supposed as “bigdi hui ladki ” hath se nikal Rahi hai.
At least if before marriage we ask for doing job then their so called replies be like : hume tujse job nahi karani hai , ladki ki kamai khayege kya log ky kahenge.
