I knew we’d last : On love

For that person – I knew we’d last, we were capable to bear it, just as you said. Because just like you,I had immense love in my heart and I don’t give up. Just like you, I love deep and I don’t fool it. But unlike you, my love for you might not show via conventional gestures. (Ask anyone I have ever loved. Bonbons, nation, ,friends ,family and my bitch Diva.)

So, if I tell you that I love you, I will always be there for you, even if it’s unseeable.

.

We get scared because love is something we can never give up on. We have the option of pulling back out of the other relationships which are comparatively subjacent and temporary if they wreck us .( high school friendships for example). But in love, there’s is no rebound. It’s a bond that our heart signed with our loved one without consulting and now, facing the consequences is all we can do. So we stick with them in their shine and shades. Love is pure velvet but equally hurtful if missed. That level of stress is excruciating if left untreated. So we fear to love. This isn’t a joke after all.

My view on falling in love: Be prepared for dealing with hardships before you commit to someone. Falling in love is involuntary but if you do, be dedicated and fearless. No, don’t go blindly about it. Don’t avoid your peeps, aims and most importantly, yourself. Because that is not the only thing you want to do in a lifetime. There is much more to life. Utilize yourself, lay out a line that defines what’s prior to you. Unplanned things like love are beautiful and often ‘cool’ at the start but not everyone has got good luck with the climax. So, think about it. (Guess that’s why people have a brain with a heart.) Hence, trust the people you love infinitely but in the end – If it doesn’t keep you feel spirited enough, it can eat you up. Learn to love yourself. If anyone obstructs that, pull up and leave the space. You are valuable.

Love isn’t substantial, it’s soulful.
So, keep loving, keep living and keep going.
No proofs, certification or acknowledgment required. (That’s the beauty of love)

A poem that really explains love as I pursue it is as follows:-

Kahlil Gibran: Love,  Love is complete in itself. Isn’t easy. But worthy of everything. ?

When love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep.
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams
as the north wind lays waste the garden.

For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.

Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked.
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God’s sacred feast.

All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life’s heart.

But if in your fear you would seek only love’s peace and love’s pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of love’s threshing-floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For love is sufficient unto love.

When you love you should not say, “God is in my heart,” but rather, “I am in the heart of God.”
And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.

Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself.
But if you love and must need to have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving;
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love’s ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

Just one more thing:-
I don’t know who has a better fate. People who have loved or those who never did.
