Today is 100th birth anniversary of DURGA OF INDIA… Indira Gandhi…She was the true symbol of India..
But unfortunately, we forgot her today… Currently there is systematic distortion happening with our history.
We have to force to celebrate birth anniversary of Din Dayal Upadhyay who was never part of freedom struggle and even supported British during Quit India Movement.
On the other side, we have been forced to forget Indira Gandhi.
At the age of 13, she participated in freedom struggle movement.
She transformed food deficit India into self-sufficient India.
She imposed emergency but we have to appreciate her for restoring faith in Democracy and Idea of India. If we think of emergency today, there is no hope that we will never live in Democracy again.
So, even if current government forcing us to forget such a brave child of India, WE SHOULD NOT.
