Today if something has united the country, it is Padmavati. A legend that has survived through ages and has been unknown to most. Well, the gap of knowledge has been filled by all the outrageous organizations who are putting bounties on the heads of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone.
A lot has been already said over the issue but more than speeches this entire dispute has questions to ask. The people moving with swords in hands have never come to support women who have suffered sexual harassment, they are celebrating the pride in Padmavati’s Jauhar which had remained unknown until today to many.
The best part is that A-grade films with vulgar double-meaning dialogues like ‘Great Grand Masti’ were passed without any cuts and objection but this particular movie is facing something the makers had never thought of. Are we so low? Without watching the flick how can you predict what is in there?

But what I believe is that these people do not have the courage to witness the Jauhar of queen Padmavati. They know what had happened but do not want others to see the same. And, yes, our leaders are backing them by announcing Padmavati as their idol and telling supporters to build her statue. See, how fake are they. When there are farmers dying due to loans, hungry children are there, unemployment is there, women are being raped every day, pollution is making places worse than hell what we are concerned about is whether a film that is portraying a legend as a legend. There is a difference between people who do not know and those who do not want to know. These all Rajput groups, in actual, do not want know and are not willing to come out from the vicious circle they have formed by themselves. They do not know that history is not preserved in archives rather it is being remembered in memories.
