SNAP 2017 goes online

Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro Chancellor, Symbiosis International University (SIU), has proudly announced that, “In line with the Prime Minister’s vision of Digital India, Symbiosis International University has decided to conduct the SNAP 2017 entrance test in an online mode.”

It is now mandatory for candidates aspiring to join select postgraduate programmes such as MBA / MSc (CA) / MSc (SS), at various SIU Institutes to appear for the All-India common SNAP online test.

Since the inception of SNAP entrance test in 2004, this is the first year that it will be conducted in a computer-based mode and will benefit aspirants in numerous ways.

Dr Rajani Gupte, Vice-Chancellor, SIU, said that, “SNAP 2017 going online enhances access, is environmentally friendly, and aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of Digital India!  The process is now also more secure due to the introduction of biometric registration. I’m sure aspiring students will be happy with this initiative.”

Dr R. Raman, Director, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management [SIBM] also pointed out that, “From just 32 cities, we now have the examination centers at 102 cities across the country.  Printing heaps of question papers will now be history as computer screens will be displaying SNAP 2017 questions for the aspirants. Going online for SNAP is a part of the Go Green initiative of Symbiosis International University.”

SIU commenced SNAP 2017 registrations from August 10, 2017, and the exam is scheduled for December 17, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Candidates interested in appearing for the SNAP 2017 exam, need to visit the SNAP 2017 official website, www.snaptest.org to obtain the SNAP 2017 application form and register for the exam.
