The Rainbow

The eye which once cried,
The eyelash which once seems short and ugly,
The eye which once disowned the beauty of kohl,
Is now adoring the shades of rainbow embracing the colorful soul.

The piercing which was once confined to a single ear,
The hairs which once tried to draw straight and clear,
The personality which once hid under the glass,
Is now expecting a life adorned with colored lip gloss.

His masculine demeanor once tagged him as the classic dude,
His sexuality, which was once variable with cultural and historical themes,
His vocabulary which once recognized the term drag as pulling someone rough,
Is now the Queen of his unicorn world.

No matter your rainbow is full of colors,
Or simply have a grayscale paint on,
We need to embrace everyone with the equal love and heart,
To value every person’s pronoun.
