The report has listed 617 individuals with income of over rupees 1,000 crores. Chairman and MD of the Reliance Industries Limited, Mukesh Ambani has topped the chart with his wealth of Rs. 2,75,900 crore. Interestingly, Mukesh’s wealth is more than the GDP of Yemen. Mukesh Ambani retains the richest Indian for the sixth time in a row.

With a net worth of INR 257,900 Crore, Ambani topped the chart of 2017 Hunur India Richest people list. Interestingly, Ambani’s wealth is 50% greater than the GDP of Yemen- the country of his birth.
- Dilip Shanghvi
Sun Pharma’s chairman and MD followed Ambani in the Report with a net worth of INR 89,000 crore. Dilip Shanghvi is on the second in richest Indian.

The steel king of India, Lakshmi Niwas Mittal is on 3rd in richest Indian with a net worth of INR 88,200 crore as per the Hurun report.
- Shiv Nadar
With a net worth of INR 85,100 crore, Shiv Nadar, the founder of HCL became the 4th richest Indian according to the Hurun India.
- Azim Premji
The founder of IT giant Wipro’s, Azim Premji’s is on the 5th position with a net worth INR 79,300 crore. Azim Premji founded the Premji Invest in 2006.
