Will Padmavati make it to the box office?

The year 2017 is all set to end with a bang! The trailer of the movie Padmavati was released this month and has created a huge stir among the Indian as well as the overseas audience.  Directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmavati will be out in the theatres on the 1st of December 2017.

The movie is a historical epic and features the story of the great Rani Padmavati played by Deepika Padukone, opposite Ranveer Singh who plays Alauddin Khalji and Shahid Kapoor who plays the King of Chittor.

The trailer of the movie created an internet sensation with its release and now has about 38 million views. This historical retelling of the great epic of Rani Padmavati will definitely make it big at the box office in spite of the controversy surrounding the film. The fans of Bhansali and Deepika/Ranveer are looking forward to the movie in great anticipation.

The big budget film is hoping to make about 350 crores and more, and gain the super hit status in no time. Here are a few reasons why Padmavati will definitely be a hit, receiving much praise and love from worldwide audiences as well as critics-

Over the top sets, intriguing story, elaborate costumes and epic movies is a trademark of director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Critiques and audiences cannot help but watch Bhansali movies for their promising performances and opulence.

The story of Padmavati is definitely a legend, which was first narrated by Malik Muhammed Jayasi in Padmavat his epic poem. But, many doubt if her story is actually true and are curious to experience how the Indian queen has been represented in the movie.

Deepika and Ranveer make a real-life hot couple, but in reel life, they create magic with their superb acting and sizzling chemistry. The audience has definitely enjoyed their superior acting skills in previous Sanjay Leela Bhansali movies like Bajirao Mastani and Galiyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela.

The movie is packed with meticulously choreographed action scenes and sequences. Bajirao Mastani offered the audience a glimpse of what Indian battles were like in those days, and in Padmavati, the audience is expecting a more action-packed performance.

This is the first time Shahid Kapoor is playing a Rajput Raja from Indian history. People are looking forward to his acting and role in the movie.

Bhansali’s vision along with Deepika and Ranveer’s chemistry as well as Shahid’s charm is bound to create a movie that will give Bahubaali a run for its money.
