Every month, thousands of you write on Youth Ki Awaaz to speak up on issues that matter to you. Many of you have also written to us personally, wanting to know what it takes for a story to be read and shared by millions.
I won’t lie to you. Becoming the best writer that you can be isn’t easy. But I assure you, it’s worth the effort. And if the prospect of becoming that writer excites you, then I have some good news for you!
All through November, Youth Ki Awaaz will be hosting its first official “Feedback month”. Which means that during the entire duration of the month, any post you publish on the YKA platform in English or Hindi will qualify to receive feedback from YKA’s talented team of editors. All you need to do is write your post, publish it and “request feedback” by clicking on the “Request feedback” button at the end of your post. (See screenshot below)
What happens when you request feedback?
Once we receive your request for feedback, our expert team of editors will read your post closely and send you structural and editorial feedback on your writing, detailing what’s working for your piece, what’s not and what you can do to make it better.
The feedback you’ll receive from us will be much more than a mere pat on the back—you’ll get actionable ways to improve your writing – with everything tailored towards that one end goal – to help YOU become a better writer.
Why are we doing this?
As a writing platform, we stand strong by the power of your writing. We believe your voice matters, that your story can create a difference – and that working together, we can make things happen. So what are you waiting for?
We are waiting to read from you!
