A confident woman

Mother, sister and daughter… These are not words! They are the base of our society, they are the strength and support for a man. These are no one but women!

Being in an educated society really makes me feel good that I’m surrounded with literate people. But when I take a look to their perception on women I bow my head down to those thoughts. Just by saying save female child, no rapes and doing candle marches it doesn’t mean that you are raising the standard of your thinking towards women. Being a part of the society I’ve experienced the total thought processing of a human mind like if a boy comes late at night from job everyone appreciates him “woah! He is so hardworking. He will be a successful person one day.” But when a woman rings up late at night all the stares and glares are at her “what was she doing so late?” , “With whom she must be roaming?” Or “is she on a right path?” , “No, I think she should quit her job!”

But still she stands up, takes a step forward and move her steps toward the glory! Being pushed back by the society, isolated and wrongly treated, they get sympathised by some handful of people. For how long will they support them. This is the reason we are lacking behind. We need to sow a seed of confidence in women, so that they raise their voice, they can change the mentality of others and be an important part of human world!

When this seed will get proper nourishment then the day is not far when we will be the ideal society, the society of which I’m dreaming and the society which every woman wants deep inside their heart. The day every female stands up and takes the oath to leave everyone behind Is the day when human equality will come to play socially.

A woman is considered a weakling. She is been isolated, restrictions are made in her and bullied. But her strength is immeasurable when we see from a clear point of view. Even after being molested, demoralized, going through menstrual cycle, getting pregnant and all the society’s pressure she smiles and don’t let these problems drag her down and makes her the complete confident woman. “There are no makeovers in my books. The ugly duckling does not become a beautiful swan. She becomes a confident duck able to take charge of her own life and problems.”

Today’s girls are beautiful swan filled with elegance and beauty. They care for their looks and appearance. And this is the reason people have forgotten who she is. Underestimating the power of a confident duckling they try to take advantage of her but the women’s ability kills all their junky thoughts!

I was getting over the thought of an independent woman then I realized the reason of molestation,rapes and eve teasing. When a woman walks alone on a street with short skirts it doesn’t mean she wants to lure you towards her, it means she is comfortable with that outfit,our right to freedom gives her right to do so, she steps out like this because she believes the world out is safe for every women. But she still gets molested, she slaps him,shouts for help but still no one comes out to help her. Here she completes her responsibility of being confident but the one who is responsible for this issue is the people like us who knows everything, sees everything, understand everything but doesn’t do anything. And that’s where we are dragging that confident women back.

I always thought that people told them that they’re beautiful that this was a title that was bestowed upon them…I think that it’s time to take this power into their own hands and to say, “You know what? I’m beautiful and even confident. I just am. And that’s my light. I’m just a confident woman.” If we help a woman then who knows the woman we helped saved your mother’s/sister’s/daughter’s life someday.

Never ever underestimate the ability of an independent and confident women. With our support and positive perception and thoughts she can do wonders and can take our nation to glory!
