CEEOIndia Conducted One-Day Workshop on Revival of Crèche centres sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir State Social Welfare Board at Budgam Headquarters and distribution of Nutrition Supplements, Toys, Blankets , Winter Clothes, Stationary Items and Teaching Kits
An activity based and intra-face workshop of Crèche-centre workers and helpers held at CEEOIndia Headquarters Budgam. The crèche centres are sponsored by Jammu and Kashmir state Social welfare Board, Govt. of J&K, under supervision of central social welfare Board, Government of India.
It has been a year since the organization has officially take up the monitoring and implementation of crèche-centres in District Budgam. A face to face interaction was chaired by Dr. TahmeenBukhari (Deputy CMO Budgam), Shri-Tariq Ahmed (DSWO Budgam), Shri Kifayat Ali (TSO Budgam) Shri Mohammed Shahid (TSO Budgam) Shri Mohd. Rouf (Asst. General Manager DIC Budgam) smt. Fahmeeda (Health Officer, Department of Health, Budgam) Shri Arif Ahmed (District Manager DUDA) and Shri. G.R.Mir (Chairman CEEOIndia)
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Tahmeen Bukhari laid emphasis on empowerment of rural children especially girl child in the environment of best education and healthy nutrition system. It is our duty to make education so natural and free to everyone that from every village in Kashmir valley, we can sow the seed of literacy, which eventually will lead towards social and economical development of the state and country. While speaking to the crèche-workers, she promised that very support from being in person and from the department will provide to the CEEOIndia, for empowerment of rural kids, especially Girl-child. “It is my dream to see books and pencil in every single hand of Girl-Child”
Apart from It, District Social Welfare Officer Budgam, Shri Tariq Ahmed appraised the performance of the organization on the ground level in implementing the projects of various departments and ministries across the state for empowerment and development for women and Girl-child by the dedicated team at CEEOIndia.
One-Year Appreciation certificates were distributed among the workers and Helpers at Crèche-centres, monitored by CEEOIndia, apart from it, all necessary stock of nutrients and supplements for children were distributed centre wise by Hon’ble Guests.
At Last, Vote of Thanks, conveyed to the participants and Hon’ble Guest by Chairman CEEOIndia (G.R.Mir) and thanked the efforts of Hon’ble Chairperson State Social Welfare Board J&K, Dr. (Prof) Nirmal Gupta, Executive Director/Secretary State Social Welfare Board ( Shahid Mahmood Dar) and other staff working tirelessly at the Board.
