“Inaayat” Made Its First Screening In Delhi International Queer Theatre and Film Festival 2017,

“Inaayat “is a positive perspective documentary film based on Professor Himadri roy and his mother directed by Naveen Tokas and produced by Raghuveer Sandhu. This is approx 13:00 mins film that explores the queerness of Mr. Roy and his relationship with the mother. What did it take her mother to accept a son who did not fulfill the set notions of compulsory heterosexuality even as a child of 7? This film also depicts that how his mother supports him in a positive way regarding his wishes likes and relationship with his partner. This documentary also focuses on the idea of Roy’s mother regarding homosexuality its acceptance and gives a powerful message to our society.

After all, in the end we desire and deserve just love.
