Rajasthan govt plans death penalty for rape of minors
A bill will be brought in upcoming budget session of assembly .
State home minister gulab chand kataria saId,”The govt is currently studying tthe madhya pradesh model”
The MP assembly on dec 4 this year passed a bill that will see rapists of girls below 12 years being hanged till death (the bill is now awaiting the assent of the president to become a law.
but i think that this is not the effective step.
more punishment is not the solution,
As per the current data of NCRB(national crime records bureau) conviction rate of attempt of rape is just 19.7% in india.
Then how can govt think that if death penalty will introduce as a new punishment of rape of minors then number of rapes will decrease.

The point is firstly there is need to strict law and order.
court proceedings takes no of years.
daily at least 1 news u can easily read in newspaper that a girl raped but how many times you read that ki kisiko saza mili.
rarely 1 news in a month (rarely) regarding this ki koi rappist punish hua .
punishment kitni bhi karlo rape kal bhi hote the
aj bhi ho rahe h or kl bhi honge agar ase hi chlta raha to.
There is need of strict actions . and strict law and order.
