This promotes better digestion and boosts your metabolism throughout the day. Keep drinking water regularly after every 20-30 minutes. Water detoxes the body and aids in removing the excess fat.

  1. Eat small meals frequently

A glaring mistake that many of us engage in is that we choose to have 3-4 four heavy meals in a day. This is not beneficial and instead leads to over-eating. You should partake in several small meals throughout the day instead. However, ensure that these snacks are healthy. Avoid fried or oily snacks and go for fresh fruits and salads, if possible. This practice ensures that your stomach is never empty.

  1. No more Siestas

Do not lie down or doze off immediately after having a meal. This severely restricts the digestion and causes excess fats to get stored in your body. After your lunch or dinner, go for a light walk before lying down. However, it is best to avoid sleeping during the day, as it affects the normal sleep routine throughout the night.

  1. Regular strenuous exercise

This will give you ample time to complete all of your other activities.
