मेघा-एक नौसिखिए की कविताएं by Kumar Mohit

Why is a mirror so important for us?

Maybe because of its ability to show the truth. In the same manner, for society “Literary work” serves as a mirror. But this aspect of literary work is getting diminished day by day. The majority of work is now being focused on “fiction”, and in this race of false praise, most of us have forgotten the X-Factor of literary work. This is the sole reason behind the creation of Megha.

Megha isn’t just a book but it’s a collection of little experiences, beliefs, hopes and observations. Since the very first poem of Megha is “Indradhanush”, you will surely have a walk through the garden full of flowers of all 7 colors in the whole book. It has romance, patriotism, social awareness, motherhood, childhood and many other colors. Now talking about the best part of the book, all of them are woven with beads of precious elements of literature like personification, metaphors and other figures of speech in a thread of our mother tongue Hindi. There are a total of 25 such poems starting from “Indradhanush” and ending at “Bebas”. All of them are written for a purpose and has a story behind them. It’s a memorable collection of my writings of last 10+ years. And since it’s my first book, the subtitle goes like “Poem of an amateur” and thus your suggestions and valuable feedbacks will surely serve as building blocks for my future projects.
