Dreams Of MSP- Sold .

Mr Jaitely came forward with the financial budget of 2018_19 session claiming a benchmark budget after a long years for the agricultural sector .

Though the budget contains nothing new for the relief of farmers and agricultural crisis ,the government claims it to be historic by promising the farmers of 50% over the cost of production on MSP.The major discrepancy which is not cleared by Mr Jaitely is the calculation of cost of production is based on A2(cost of inputs +imputed cost of labour+FL) which is already availed by the farmers and is not efficient enough or whether on C2(A2+FL+imputed cost of land rent +interest on owned land and capital)which might help the farmers as according to benchmark report of M.S.Swaminathan in 2006 still no measure have been taken from that time and is repeatedly ignored by all ruling party.

The second major problem with the budget is that it is indeterminate. As said the NITI AAYOG will work with states to create an institutional mechanism to deliver MSP ,since no framework or deadline have been set it can take years to implement.

It seems the budget was an agenda  once again to fool the famers for 2019 lok election by making them dream goals of 2022.
