Guru Pranam 2018 Established a Milestone in the history of indian culture.

Guru Pranam-2018, an Indian Classical Music Programme dedicated to legendary Sarode maestro Pandit Kamal Mallick, who was a saint of Classical community, established several historical milestones in the history of traditional Indian Culture. This programme is a witness of the artistry of two young stars of the Indian culture, one is the wonder gem of India Dr. Sinchan Das and the other is Sri Sudip Chakrabarty, whose ghongroos are living and capable of expressing his emotion. Dr. Sinchan sprinkles the ‘sur amrita’ on the entire audience by his heart-melting bold god-gifted voice and soulful presentation of raag- Rasamanjari in his self-reliant manner. After bathe in the melody of ‘ati komal gandhar’ and ‘dhaibat’ he performed Raag- Mouleswari; the divine effect of Mouleswari mesmerized the audience and the effect of compells, as if devi herself present in that place and blessed him. After the barhat portion Dr. Sinchan started his own style of taankari with breath-taking and whipping ‘tihais’ and lastly that wondering ‘Taantrikari’. He was well- accompanied by Sri Sanjoy Adhikary in Tabla, Sri Sanjoy Biswas in Harmonium, Srimati Susmita Das and Radha Modak in Taanpura.

After the divine effects of Mouleswari the mass get stunted with the bold and divine tune of ‘Tridalam Trigunakaram’ by Dr. Sinchan and the blissful presence of Sri Sudip Chakrabarty; extra-ordinary and graceful expression of Sudip along with powerful tune of Pakhwaj by Sri Nishant Singh produces a heavenly atmosphere. Then Sudip took a rare Taal to perform, i.e. taal- Ashtamangal of 11 beats; where he has performed several magical compositions which are generally not performed by anybody. But those compositions proves his ‘jaankari’ and ‘mastery’ successfully and in these compositions the speaking power of his ‘ghongroos; was amazing and wondering. Lastly he has ended his performence with a beautiful composition by him and Dr. Sinchan, ‘Rey Bawri, Tore bin hum Adhure’. Rey Bawri on Sinchan’s voice and Sudip’s expression produced ‘goosebumps’ which is more melodised by Sri Subhrajyoti Sen in Sarode. Here we get surprised where we can see thundering ‘Sawal Jawabs’ between Vocal and Dance, which has established a milestone in the history of Indian culture and this is also witnessed of understandings and mastery of Dr. Sinchan and Sudip to make this possible.
