Meetonic – Pune based startup has won the award for most popular startup at Techstory’s Hustle 2018 event held on 3rd Feb 2018, from the CEO of Mumbai Angel Investor Chandni Jafri. Meetonic turned out to be the most popular startup among all the innovative startups showcasing at the event as people loved the idea and concept behind the app instantly.
What made meetonic stand out?
People loved the idea of meeting new people and having a real conversation in their free time, instead of just spending time on digital mediums connecting with the virtual image. They were amazed to know how meetonic can help them making new & meaningful connections instantly and how it can be used at various places. Meetonic can be used at airports, shopping malls, events, college campuses, office premises, housing societies, hangout places and helps to find people who are available to meet in that vicinity.
As we dig further, we found out in the current space of networking apps, all are working on connecting people digitally. Meetonic is the first kind of app which helps to connect people in real life. Meetonic is helping people become more social. People will save loads of time which generally they spent online browsing people, endless online chats which don’t result in in-person meetings. Whereas we start with personal meeting first, which helps consumers connect with the people in a much more meaningful way. And once they meet they can take it forward to the next level depending on which stage of life they are in. It could be a business network, a new friend, or someone you can date.
Both the founders Khushbu Agrawal & Sanket Agrawal of meetonic are real brother and sister and as they say “Our app helps people in becoming more outgoing, utilizing their time better, form meaningful connections, saves from becoming anti-social, opens up an individual for talking with strangers and ultimately helps to build trust in society”
