There is no need to say that violence against women is a serious cause of concern.There are massive number of crimes which are executed on women.A woman faces a grim reality at an every step of her life.The perpetrators are no less than living animals.The sexual content which is easily available around the canopy of internet, is increasing at high pace.It is a matter of serious concern that prepubescent children being raped.These crimes are a result of pornography available on plethora of websites which constitute about 90% of violence against children(according to NCRB’s data).
It is demand of an hour to curb these crimes,considering the fact that the contribution of children in nation building is great.A data realeased by a Non-Governmental Organisation reveals that there are more than five thousand porn websites in India.To stamp down these heinous crimes, some measures at two levels need to be taken ,at family level and at government level.The rudimentary consultation can only be established in family.
At the government level,there must be a firewall created that can take over all the porn websites much like China.In China,there is a firewall over Internet Service Providers,which allow access to only those contents which are in the interest of public.The State should ponder over it seriously and should take stern initiatives to curb these crimes.
