Structured approach brings significant improvement in campus placements at IMT Hyderabad.

“While strong corporate connect has been a major differentiator for campus placements and offers rolled out at IMT Hyderabad last year, structured approach to further groom and equip the students, have helped this year in placements”, stated Dr. Satish Ailawadi, Director IMT Hyderabad.

As on February 02, 2018, the 2016 – 18 batch has received 160 offers, resulting in 88.3 % placements. The highest package offered is Rs. 12 Lakhs and the average package is INR 7.04 Lakhs.

Corporate Connect Initiatives at IMT Hyderabad:

• 15% sessions in regular courses are taken by practitioners to familiarize the students with the real time business scenarios

• 14 – 16 weeks faculty supervised internship program

In addition to the above, the institute planned and executed a number of initiatives for the 2^nd Year students, post their summer internships. This catapulted for a smooth transition of students into their professional lives by enabling them to bag decent offers during the campus placements for the batch 2016-18.

The initiatives include a 2 week dedicated training program, career counseling by corporate leaders, participation in mock GD’s & PI’s and weekly online quizzes on current affairs and the ‘much sought-for’ domain knowledge. The Industry centric approach has paid well as reflected in number of offers per recruiter went up along with endorsement from repeat recruiters, quality and diversity of recruiters and enhanced job roles.
