Anna Hazare considers stir in farmers’ favour

Anna Hazare, the Gandhian social activist, is still active in public life. He keeps an eye on the political trends in the country. That is why he favours the farmers’ cause and yearns to stir up opinion in their favour. Not wholly content with the government’s endeavours, he has been deeply considering firing up an agitation in the farmers’ support on March 23 at Ramlila ground in Delhi.

The persistent situation has made him resolve to engage every minute of his life for the cause of the common people. He is frustrated, almost angry at the Modi government, which was not giving a single grain of confidence to him in regards to the betterment of the condition of the poor.

He desired a lot more but he found nothing encouraging in spite of long wait in that direction. He stared angrily at the fruitless span of nearly four years’ BJP rule. He is completely disappointed as the people’s fortunes could not change in harmony with the tall promises by the central government. His lofty hopes have almost dashed in these so many years of the BJP’s rule.

His patience has given way by now as he is bound to begin a stir in sheer disillusionment. He wants that the farmers should also be benefited with the facility of pension on the lines of the retired govt servants. Holding the central government responsible for the farmers’ pitiable condition across the country, he cannot chew and digest their poor condition.

A kind of impatience disturbs him continuously that shows his extreme affection for the browbeaten populace. Ever since he has been thinking of taking the people’s issues on the forefront, his honesty of purpose cannot be doubted. If he has shown support to the farmers’ issues, his integrity centres around the common people’s weal. When he has been following Gandhian values in his life, his dedication and duty demonstrate his dependability.
