Race,Gender,Sexuality! We are all people and we are all equal !This thought is what I want to feed in the societies mind. LGBT is a typically stereotyped concept,mainly in South Asia.Hence I thought why not break the stereotypical thought through my expression of writing? So,
Transgenders,known as Hijra’s in SA are the people whose sexual orientation differs from their assigned Sex. So,is it their fault to be born as transgenders? The society which passes such Myopic( Narrow Minded) comments about them do not understand the genetic reason behind it.They are born that way due to the chemical or harmonal imbalance. Now do we blame them for that? No,its our responsibility to render emotional support to them. The transgender population suffers from mental health issues like anxiety,depression etc.,The root cause for those issues is our narrow minded opinions about them., All this pushes them into dark.Hence,it is our responsibility to pull them off the dark area , include and involve them in the Yellow World of ours.
Now we know the problem, and ranted enough over it.! As a responsible representative of the world, I have come up with few solutions to make their lives effective.
1:Set up exclusive therapy and cure centres for the community,where they can be emotionally stable.
2:Conduct Employment workshops
3:Companies must have a 90:10 ,recruitment ratio. 10:for the Trans population.
I am very delighted to encounter the transformation of the mindset about the LGBT community. Transgender activists like Laverence Cox,Janet Mock,Renee Richards, our very own Gauri Sawant,Laxmi Narayan Tripathi,Akkai etc.,have written new skylines., Due to Gauri Sawant’s spear headed move,they were categorically known as OTHERS now ! They have rendered their support and encouragement PANAROMICALLY ! Now,there are transgenders in the Film industry, there are Trans Youtubers,musicians and also Transqueens ,now !
I am overwhelmed with all these developments with respect to their community.But alas!Only 20% of the population is educated about them,but what about the other 80% ? Do we still make them pass such dehumanised comments and actions?No,! We shall educate them,urge them,to render all their support to the community and their population.
Its time for them to discontinue the TRANS Life and live a Robust and Zealous life !
