Nasimuddin Siddiqui’s Move To Join The Congress Is Proof Of His Great Political Acumen

Nasimuddin Siddiqui has now turned out to be a trusted and well-regarded companion of the Congress party. He has even declared his move as a ‘ghar wapsi’.

The political situation was changing at the ground level, which was clear from the BJP’s defeats in the bypolls. His career now entirely depends on his political acumen.

Somewhere, he was feeling uneasy after the exodus from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). So he shook hands with the Congress that was once his adversary on the political plane. Since the party’s supremo Mayawati cut his connections with the BSP, he realised that he was taking an interesting initiative by becoming a Congressman. In the process, he proved himself to be an accurate political futurist.

After all, a politician always remains a political leader. He joined the Congress with three ex-ministers, four ex-MPs, about four to five dozen ex-legislative members and probable candidates. The Congress received them with open hands. No political party disregards displeased politicians from another rival party.

He seemed to have found his safe political haven now. He was at the ass-end of nowhere, but he is now capable of seeing miles ahead with his political gaze. Although he grew up in the BSP, yet, the Congress assured him of making his dreams come true. He was getting quite motivated with the Congress party leaders’ ample support.

His embarrassment was over when Ghulam Nabi Azad, the UP in-charge, and Raj Babbar, the UP Congress president, encouraged him. Siddiqui could not believe his luck after receiving such warm gestures from his new party. His meeting with Rahul Gandhi was also positive.
