A Race to equality!

A woman slapping a man is considered as courageous, yet a man slapping a woman is taken as offensive! Talk about women empowerment!

I won’t dig much deeper into this, because many already have! CHILDREN being RAPED & KILLED in a country, where feminism is just a mere revolution, and humanity is dying?

No authority is addressing the issue that people need education more than they need jobs right now! They need to have awareness about crimes, and their human rights! They must know about the basic laws and how powerful they’re once they’re aware that only they can form a government and also can destry one!!!!!

But it got too “politically feministic”  to see TMC leaders literally beating and thrashing a woman in public, who by the way happen to be a BJP candidate. Questions were raised on the female CM of the state, Mamta Banerjee as it happened in West Bengal at 24 Paraganas, that too outside BDO’s office! “How could a woman let this happen to another woman, and not do anything about it?”, “The CM should take some action!” Ecetera. Ecetera.

Since people were too busy blaming men, and TMC, the internet flooded over with several news stories about the incident. News channels held debates (some are still having it), about the rapes and killings, with the political representatives, who know nothing about empowerment and women leadership & what it can do!

Like there’re no disputes in everyday life? Not men beat other men? Or is it only because, finally a political stunt got high in the name of feminism and how women are treated in our society, yet being the candidate of the ruling central power?

Be all feminist you want, call on all campaigns and slogans to secure gender equality, but it’s far from our reach!

Sure, some women grab their rights with knowledge & power, but not all of them are capable of that! And for them, this incident will serve as an antidote to their rising confidence. Just like how many women get raped each day; How many of them are violently harassed ;

This is how our “Ruling gender’s” mentality works!

Beating or thrashing anyone is inhuman. It proves how insecure we are in our own existence, that by doing so, we can satisfy ourselves for having identity crisis!

Feminismisn’t new, and it isn’t just a revolution. It’s been going on since ages. Since the time when (as the mythology says) Goddess Sita was asked to give the “agni pariksha” ;

When Draupadi was insulted and assaulted in a council packed with  “noble men” including her husbands!

Yet, here we stand. Another day, another chaos of the gender debate! And no question on how do we stop feminism (because clearly it hasn’t worked yet) and start being human after all!?!
