“I” write because “you” read.
Here, “I” refers to the author and “you” refers to the reader. The world has more than 7 billion people and India alone is home to more than 1.2 billion people. It means that the audience is very big and each one of them has a story to tell. Some come forward and some don’t, but those who couldn’t able to tell their stories or raise their voice want to be heard and waiting for someone to tell their stories. So I write to express my ideas and stories which I experience and I know that it also serves the purpose of the speaking for others. I decided to write not for some certain areas or issues, but I write about my thinking and experiences which I receive from all walks of life. And all it is possible because our beautiful country gives us the right to “freedom of expression”.
Writing is not the collection of words, but it is medium to lay down your thoughts, expression, demand, and request in whatever way you can. It is a medium to connect with the masses. It has the power to change things. I believe in “speak with silence” and writing enables me to achieve the same.
I am neither a trained writer nor I know how to put sentences in an attractive way, but I do know is I have a lot of stories to tell to the world and people are listening and waiting to be heard.
For me, writing is a liberating experience and fills me with the confidence. I request those who are reading this story and never written anything in past, don’t wait and start writing. There are plenty of issues in the society, choose any and express what matters to you the most and you could be the 1st one who could bring that to the masses.
This is my story about writing and these are the reasons why I write and appreciate others who write.
