I Write Because I Believe In The Butterfly Effect

So I was asked why I write.

I write because writing is the best form of expression that I am aware of. It helps bring my deepest darkest emotions come alive. Most importantly, I write to deliver my thoughts to the right set of mind and soul. When I pour my words in black, I have an agenda behind that. That is to pour my mind and heart on concern(s) that matters. By writing about it and placing it on a platform like YKA, it helps me reach out to people sitting miles away. Sharing and caring virtually is the biggest blessing in the world of writing.

It is not necessary that all your readers find your views appealing, but at least my thoughts make them think. Some questions come to their mind, which was otherwise covered in dust. The readers get a new perspective, if not in agreement. That is the whole idea of putting words on a compose box. Let people read, think, act, react.

Writing also helps me journal my own experiences and like pictures, my writing helps me relive those moments when I revisit them. Writing also helps me learn from my own work. With every post, I become more experienced. I love to read my past work and think how my perspective differs or add to a post. More often than not,  I feel the urge to pen it better.

I would urge the youth of this country to write, to share, to let the world know how they think. It may be a single act but you cannot predict what it triggers. This is the era of the butterfly effect and I truly believe that “big things often have small beginnings”. A small act by you can make a BIG change in someone’s life. Each one of us has a story to share, it’s about time it came in writing.
