Four-Month-Old Infant Raped And Murdered In Indore

In the renowned Rajwada region of Indore, a four-month-old infant was found murdered in the basement of the Shiv Vilas Palace on Thursday.

A suspect, who is related to the family, has been taken into custody; the police have grabbed the suspect’s bloodstained garments and the cycle.

The post-mortem examination report declared the infant was raped. The newborn child died because of head wounds. The policemen were shocked.

SI Trilok Singh Varkade of Sarafa police headquarters has been suspended. “The SI neglected to inform seniors of the grievous wrongdoing in his general vicinity,” explained DIG Harinarayanachari Mishra.

The child was reportedly sleeping with her family in a yard outside Rajwada when she was snatched. The abductor took away the young girl from right under the policemen’s noses.

The newborn child’s mother told the police that she had initially woken up around 3 am and checked her children. She had found everyone secure at that time. However, when she woke up at 5:30 am, the child was missing.

The CCTV footage shows a man in a cycle grabbing the young girl and moving towards the business complex of Shiv Vilas Palace around 4:45 am. He is seen coming back to the spot alone.

On Friday, the police detained three to four people in connection to the crime but later identified the main suspect as someone else. On Saturday, Indore Deputy Inspector General HC Mishra told reporters that the police department had identified a Naveen Gadge as the main suspect. Gadge is a known relative to the victim’s family.
