Is this what Development means? We humans cut down the trees for our own benefits and destroyed the homes & life of living creatures. We built cellphones towers for communication but we are avoiding its consequence’s like harmful radiations which mislocates the directions of birds nests, cause death to many living things. Due to this many birds like sparrows, pigeons, dodo has either become endangered or extinct.
Apart from this, there is one more point which we have to focus on and that is the development of “Nuclear weapons”.
Nuclear weapons are termed as a sign of “Development”, but does it really mean so? We threaten other countries with the power of nuclear weapons in order to show them that we are powerful. Nuclear weapons don’t mean development or considered as a sign of development but a huge destruction of humanity as we see in the case of Japan’s Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The survivors of the explosion developed severe diseases like cancer, leukaemia due to these harmful radiations even today when a baby takes birth it comes with many diseases and altered DNA and Mutations.
Everything has its own advantages and disadvantages. Meaning of Development varies from person to person. It depends on person’s requirement, thinking and how they observe it.
