Sorry, little angel but we only fight for issues like stalled film releases, Valentine’s day, reservation and riots because we are Hindu and Muslim more than we are human. A horrific incident has taken place, and the whole nation is numb. The soul of every woman of this country has been violated again.

An 8-year-old little soul belonged to the nomadic Muslim community of Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir. She was grazing her family’s cattle when she was kidnapped. A week later her body was found in the woods of Kathua. She was drugged, tortured, and raped till her last breath. In less than two days the incident was brought to light, and the whole nation was in shock and a state of outrage.

While the little girl’s family is demanding justice for her, some people are supporting the rapist shamelessly because they belonged to the Hindu community. It’s a mind-boggling thing how some people shape this immoral act into a communal thing only to support the perpetrators of this horrific crime.

An 8-year-old was raped and killed inside a temple for the sole purpose of driving away an entire community from their homes. A place where the Devi is worshipped a little girl was just raped and murdered. We live in a society where a girl or a woman can’t go to the temple during her period, but can be raped inside one.

Last Monday, there was utter chaos outside a courthouse in Jammu and Kashmir, as a mob tried to stop the police from filing charges against the accused rapist, but the police managed to file the case. This is the state of our country where there was a huge protest against the movie “Padmavat” to protect the pride of Rani Padmavati. Where are those people now? When a little girl was raped to death?

One of the accused was a policeman , the one who raped the child one last time before her head was bashed by the stone. Even a policeman can’t be trusted in our country. If this brutality continues then humanity should indeed be declared dead.
