Shiv Sena raised the point of shifting the country’s capital abroad to hear Prime Minister Narendra Modi speak on major issues that the country is facing. The political party which once held the BJP in high esteem now appeared to have become estranged from the BJP.
They capitalise on every chance to attack the BJP’s leaders for political purposes. Critiques persistently pour through their mouthpiece – “Saamna”. The recent editorial is objecting to the Prime Minister’s long-lasting silence on various critical issues gripping the country.
In the magazine’s editorial, the party said that the PM turns into a mauni baba when he is within the country’s precincts and feels no compunction for such a peculiar attitude. But his consciousness suddenly begins to reverberate on all these crucial points during his foreign tours.
We have seen that happen during his recent London visit. Modi spoke about the Kathua and Unnao rapes in London without mentioning either by name. Thus, the Shiv Sena have suggested that the country’s capital should be shifted to London, New York, Paris, Tokyo or Berlin.
If that option did not appear feasible, they should erect a huge film set to make New Delhi look like a foreign country, the Shiv Sena added.
