From Naturopathy To Reluctant Allopathy: A Real-Life Encounter

A note from a budding writer. This is my first online article. Well, let me get to the topic – a real-life encounter.

This is all about an incident that took place at my friend’s home. This was not the first time his dad had rung up a nearby naturopathic to get an instant cure for a mild headache. He strongly believed that allopathy offered no permanent cures. This came from his daughter’s medical history – her mucous secretions had been incurable even after 15 years of allopathic treatment by the best doctors in south India. For the past four years, she has sought out alternative medicine and is currently seeing her sixth therapist.

He and his daughter got ready for the day’s schedule. Finally, after 15 minutes, the doctor arrived. The daughter explained additional problems she had been suffering from like ringworms.

The therapist had never prescribed steroids before and strongly condemned allopathic principles. Her dad could go on for hours about how allopathic procedures harm every living being and vouch for traditional methods. But finally, when the session ended, the therapist had given up and prescribed steroids for allergy.

Wouldn’t it have been better to stick to allopathic treatment in this case? My friend’s sister was confused. She had also received an invitation to her therapist’s marriage. Her therapist was getting married to a doctor who was an MBBS and MD. Was the therapist herself confused? Too many therapists and doctors out there are just looking for money, instead of providing true service.
