900 Bottles collected in exchange of 180 plants adopted by citizens at Bhavan’s.
An initiative supported by Bhavan’s Nature and Adventure Centre – Official Forum in association with Mission Green Mumbai was loved and admired by the visitors in the exhibition. The main motive was to encourage citizens to give up Single Use plastic PET Bottles and opt for alternative healthy options.
Citizens took it seriously and gave up plastic bottle they had and instead took the plants as an reward for giving up plastic. we further explained the ill-effects of plastic which kids liked and lived the initiative.
The plastic collected will be recycled scientifically and will plant more trees instead.
