Here Are The Options For PM In 2019: A. Modi B. Modi C. All Of The Above

After watching Karnataka’s election results it does seem that country is left with no viable alternatives. The so-called “Modi lehar” is still waving in all over India and sweeping elections all around, be it East or South.

Under Modi’s leadership, they made their presence felt in the Northeast and now they are on the verge of entering the South strongly with Karnataka.

Every state election held after 2014, was won by BJP under Modi. Was it Modi that everyone wanted or did they have no choice? The elections in Gujarat showed that even people didn’t want the incumbent government but having no able alternative, BJP took the prize. The same is the scenario in many states which held elections and also in states where elections are due this year.

The BJP’s winning momentum is also a result of weak opposition. Congress doesn’t look anything like what BJP was as an opposition. Rahul Gandhi still has not been successfully portrayed as an alternative to Modi and other than him there is no leader who dares to run against Modi.

The continuous losses for Congress show that there is not a lot of admiration towards Rahul Gandhi among Indians. Also, he doesn’t stand a chance against Modi when it comes to popularity. Other popular leaders have limited popularity and that too has been concentrated to a region.

So, overall the country seems to have no options other than Modi until Rahul becomes the one or a new leader rises.
