I was second time pregnant & mother of 8 year old daughter, due to complications I was admitted in Pgi for a 1.5 month (including delivery time). First time I saw the truth of so called society there. Many pregnant ladies admitted, delivered & discharged from hospital in my presence. Many friends I made, one day I listen the argument between resident doctor & patients, it was near about 10pm, next day I got to know that dr was upset because patient’s mother in law wanted to know the “Sex” of the baby, forced dr for it but hats off to doctors of Pgi they are best in their services, neither they disclosed sex of baby not supported such kinds of activities. But this was just a beginning, day by day such kind of things were happening in hospital, a very literate couple (both r in job) attempt pregnancy for a boy , what a sickness!!!!! One day I saw a lady praying when her BAHU was in OT but prayer was not for BAHU, it was for male child, Fortunately she delivered a sweet baby girl. The whole family was disappointed mainly ladies of the family. Every second person(lady) hoping & praying for baby boy. Luckily I am blessed with best husband & family who love & expect healthy baby not baby boy. I request all ladies please don’t do this baby boy/girl both are important & lovable for us & society. If nobody wants girl child than how & from whom they get male child.
