#Happytobleed But wait!

Kudos to the Happy to bleed campaign! I am a girl, I bleed and thats no big deal!

Well, but my point behind this post isnt this. Most of us must be aware of the recent temple entry protest by the so-called, all so religious women in our country (P S : To those blissfully unaware Im referring to the Sabarimala controversy)
BBC says ‘Sabarimala bars all women in the reproductive age from entering the temple.’ Ofcourse, it does! Now why is this being blown up of all the issues?
I would say that the real intention behind all the advocates of women’s entry into Sabarimala is suspicious. Women being barred from entering this temple has religious legends. The lord’s being a celibate , the tiresome journey up the hill which can aggravate the state of bleeding women ( P S : Im not generalizing ) are all reasons to justify my stand and all this has got nothing to do with the misogyny and myths revolving around women being ‘IMPURE’ to enter temples when they menstruate, as the protesters are trying to claim.
But most importantly, when I am so proud of the gender I belong, I must be equally proud of  and respect the religion I was born into! Particularly because when mosques and other places of worship impose similar restrictions they are ‘ RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS‘ which should never be questioned and when its anything pertaining to my religion even the dog on the street has an opinion! Why the hell??
