In India, Caste And Religion Are Above Humanity

If we don’t put an end to war, war will put an end to us.

Right now, our society is losing its moral compass. Humanity is in danger. We all know what happened in Kathua and Unnao. In both cases, all limits of cruelty were crossed. In Kathua, an eight-year-old was raped in a temple and then people protested in favour of the rape accused. Some tried to justify the heinous crime by pointing out that the girl was a Muslim. Is this humanity?

Our moral and ethical values have reached their lowest levels. These kind of incidents are happening in our society due to divisions on the basis of caste and religion. The little girl in Kathua did not even know about caste or religion and yet such an injustice was meted out to her.

India is a country where lawyers, whose duty is to provide justice to the public irrespective of caste, religion and gender, also protest in favour of the accused. How will democracy sustain itself if we cannot maintain any faith in lawyers and courts? We must think according to our common humanity. If there is no humanity in the country’s foundation, then the country’s moral fabric will be devastated.

To maintain peace and harmony, we have to be conscious of what is happening in our surroundings. We have to become aware of how to maintain peace. If we are still not working on this, then we don’t deserve to be called human beings. We must strive to maintain the nation’s moral fabric.

Day-by-day, technology is advancing and making our life easier. But we are also losing empathy for others and thinking only of ourselves in a self-centred manner. The best way to pay tribute to our motherland is to maintain peace and harmony and always consider humanity before caste or religion.

Day-by-day, rapes are on an increase. If we want to make our country stronger, we cannot do so without making our women stronger first.

Our country is called “Bharat maata” but we don’t respect women – is this humanity? It will make the future of our nation darker. We are all humans so please consider humanity above caste and religion.

One cannot hope to create a better world without creating better individuals. To that end, each one of us must work for their own improvement and, at the same time, share a general responsibility for humanity. Our particular duty is to aid those who need help and hopefully, this will result in the improvement and growth of our country. Only then can we become a fearless and strong nation.
