Life is not the mark sheet of twelfth

Recently, the results of various boards have started to be declared. Result of C.B.S.E XII examination have also been announced on Saturday. Many parents are inviting good wishes and appreciation upon sharing their children’s excellent performance on social media. This way, they are enjoying public celebration of their children’s achievements.

It is not bad at all, to be happy because of children’s achievements, however one should not forget that the same result can be a cause of deep sadness and depression for many children and parents.

Don’t encourage, at least, the culture of making children a part of the race to achieve greater marks and grades. It is a fact that no academic result can fully determine someone’s actual ability. There are many examples of academically failure but successful people.

The sensible people will explain to their children that there is no need to be frustrated upon not getting the desired results. They will also tell their children that they cannot be compared to other children because everyone has their own distinct personality, different abilities and specialities. Need is to recognise yourself truly.

Life is very beautiful, very lovely and fantastic. It keeps taking our examinations lifelong. So there is no need to be disappointed. Remember ‘life is not the mark sheet of twelfth!
