hey there, i m a humanities student . and today i m gonna tell you my story after taking humanities . taking humanities in India sucks (very badly). time to time the society , parents your friends from other fields questions your decision, after taking humanities till 3 4 months I used to say proudly that i took humanities and when I started realizing how people react when i told about them this I started self doubting me . I passed my 11th and till I reached class 12 i was so demotivated that at One time I started thinking that I have no future . My parents use to compare me with other children who took science . one day my mother started crying because I took humanities this hit me hard I really dint care what other people think about me or about my decision but when your parents looked at you like you had destroyed your future by taking humanities or any other bad decision it killed me from inside , I was really trying to work harder . I EVEN STOPPED using Facebook and other social media but it was all in vain because no one praised me . As a humanities student you get used to this discrimination in the school or in the society . i guess my fault is only that I thought I should pursue what i really wanted to or I really wanted to listen to my heart. at the end I would like to drop a quote “HUMAN HUMANE HUMANITIES”.
