This is for all those people out there who find brandishing guns and other weapons “badass” or “cool”. Even if you’re posing with it just to show it off, you’re advancing a wicked culture and this goes for cigarettes and alcohol as well. You might not realize it, dismissing it as “normal” but the influence it imparts on the younger ones around you is tacit. I know smoking, drinking or possessing arms is one’s personal choice and no one should judge you for it but when you put it out there on your social account disregarding the fact that your little kins and everyone that’s connected to you will be watching all that “badass” stuff you post, they will tend to follow you because their perception of “normal” was fashioned by the “normal” you exhibited.
When you see a teenager smoking cigarette on the road or posing for his social account with a drink in his hand or even threatening to kill someone after a small discord, it is not because he was born a goon/criminal or insolent. It is only because his thoughts were shaped by the people around him, especially the elders who had him convinced that doing all the above makes them “dabang””and “cool” and that its “normal”.
It is your responsibility to refrain yourself from engaging in activities that may have a negative impact on your younger ones or even your peers for that matter.
